Bow top steel fencing & gate
The bow top steel fencing & gate were well constructed and delivered without any problems. On installation there was a problem with the corner post having been drilled incorrectly during manufacture, resulting in an angle of 120 degrees not 90.
As this was only found during installation it had to be rectified immediately by re-drilling & fitting corner brackets to restore rigidity.

Our pallets are made from untreated wood, meaning they can be recycled or taken to your local recycling centre. Alternatively, our drivers are happy to take the pallets back, provided the goods are unloaded within their delivery timeframe. Please note, they are unable to wait beyond the allocated time, as this would delay deliveries scheduled for other customers.

Bath branch visit with purchase, delivery and DIY installation of 4Nr lourve panels
Very worthwhile to visit a display area store in order to judge the quality and specification of the fence panel options prior to purchase. I went to the depot near Bath and the staff were helpful and friendly answering various questions. The visit highlighted that some of the fence panels use quite thin timber pieces which is not apparent from online or brouchure photographs.
I specifically ordered a small lorry delivery to a rear lane for ease of access which I had highlighted on the order form so was suprised when a very large articulated wagon pulled up at the front door with the fence panels to come through the house! A brief conversation with delivery driver highlighting the rear lane delivery note got everything sorted and panels were folk lifted to the easy entry location.
A few slats on my lourve style panels had some minor splits that was a disappointment considering the price paid. The slats were fixed with very small stainless steel screws, the heads on many screws were found to have been damaged when the slats needed to be removed to allow fixing of the panel frame to brickwork piers.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the Louvre panel slats. We aim to maintain the highest standards across all our products. As a natural material, timber will have some defects, including splitting, but this shouldn't affect the integrity of the product. We will replace any timber that has splits larger than the British Standard of tolerance. Not the best experience
Delivery communication was flawed and product came much later than possible. Other issues include:
1. I asked to match my neighbours fence, sent photos and they sent a very different product. When I challenged this they told me our neighbours fence was not their product but in fact the Jacksons fencing phone number was on the plate with the fence.
2. They charged me for and sent 15% more fencing than required when providing clear measurments.

I thought that the 25 year warrant…
I thought that the 25 year warrant covered replace in the event of failure.
In fact they have simply sent a replacement post and I must carry the cost of removing the failed post and installing the replacement post.
They should make clear that the 25 warrant is for replacement material only.
Their product is priced higher than most of the market and without a full warrant is not justified
